Lana, the water type trial captain of brooklet hill has a wishiwashi as the totem of her trial. She is the easiest elite four member, but still a cool character. She has added more diversity to her arsenal of rock types, but she is still easy because her team has so many weaknesses. And I can see why game freak never put in one before her. Olivia made history as the fist ever rock type elite four member. Beat the Raichu, and the rest of his team is pretty easy, no matter what battle you are in. It can sweep your team because it has insane special attack. The only thing that ranks him this high is his signature Raichu. In my opinion, most rivals with the exception of blue have been really easy. But a ground type move and this thing is toast. If you don't have a ground type, it can give you some trouble. Kiawes trial is easy due to the obvious differences between the last two dances and when you battle the salazzle, you can one shot it with a mudbrays high horsepower. The third totem is Kiawe the fire specialists salazzle. His third battle is at the aether paradise, and he has a few more Pokemon, but nothing too threatening his golisopod is basically 75% of his teams power. Same goes for the battle for the buginium z in po town. Take down his golisopod and you've basically won. He also has an ariados, but that's nothing. His signature Pokemon Golisopod is scary, but can easily be taken down by a physical tank. You battle him three times during the main story.
Guzma is the boss of team skull and he specializes in bug types. If you picked popplio, you can just disarming voice your way to victory. Giving him a bit of a break because it's the first kahuna, but there are plenty of flying and a couple of fairy types on Melemele that are catchable before fighting him.
Her team has cliche evil team Pokemon like golbat that pretty much everyone knows how to defeat. Poison is terrible in terms of type coverage, only dealing super effective damage to grass and fairy, both of which have bigger weaknesses. Plumeria specializes in poison types, and eventually gives you poisinium z on poni island. They are for water grass and fire, and you can just use the z moves for grass and water to wreck her. Akala island is the island of the elemental trials. She has a Nosepass, Lycanrok, and Boldore. Olivia is the easiest of the kahunas by far. With 5 weaknesses to common types, water grass ground fighting and steel moves pound them. The second battle he adds more to his psychic team, but it is still really easy. In the first battle with him, he literally only has a hypno. In Pokémon Moon, Alolan Raticate has a 4x weakness to fighting types being normal/dark. The starters all do very well against this totem, and you can catch a makuhita or crabrawler onroute 2 to destroy this thing. I know, it's the first one, but this was an easy fight. Totem Gumshoos/ Alolan Raticate (Illima) This is just my opinion, but this is all the main bosses in Pokémon Sun and Moon (Totems, Kahunas, Evil Team Leaders/Admins and Elite Four Members) in order of difficulty from easiest to hardest. I'm a huge Pokémon fan and I have played through Pokemon Sun and Moon. Not only is she the one to offer assistance to the Ultra Recon Squad, even after explicitly saying they didn't want help, but she also acts like a mentor to Lillie at points in the story.Hello, this is my first post on Pokemon Amino. She's the one who acts the most like a Kahuna to me, as she's given the most opportunities to do so. Of course, that leaves Hala and Hapu, and honestly, I thought Hala would play a much bigger role in the story than he did. You don't meet Nanu until close to the end of your trials on Ula'Ula. Olivia only arrives twice before the trial: one to welcome you, and the other to say "Hey, you can challenge me now". It's not that they're bad, it's just that they don't really show up too much. Having said that, I didn't really like any of the Kahunas. The last conversation with Guzma before RRĪll of those things really put my adventure into perspective, and made my first run through Alola feel more special. Nanu watching over the children after Acerola was invited to be an E4 member Mallow is a drug user (using Aromatherapy to "calm anxiety"? You can't fool me, Gamefreak)
